Spring can't come quickly enough. Things are thawing, but not fast enough for my liking. Hopefully the warmer temperatures promised for next week will speed things up.

Very interesting pic! I too am very tired of winter but luckily we have defrost a bit. Now we have mud.
Very clever approach to water. Thank you for looking at my photograph. Question....is there a place to go where you can see all the photographs at once, or do you go to each site? This is my first real attempt to do this. Thanks.
Lori
Nice, great composition.
Great photo. I know...come on spring. I want to smell grass and things blooming, instead of frozen mud!
Nice choice for water. Love the pool of water on the top of the rock just waiting to run free.
I had to do melt down shots too, not much open water here! Come on spring!
Great shot! Hope Spring comes your way soon.
Gorgeous! It's beginning to thaw here too!
Great job, very cold looking.
Cool pic! Love the composition!! :)
Brr! Nice pic.
Really nice!! Any sign of spring coming is a good one!
Beautiful picture! Very cool. And cold...must go grab blanket now...C'mon summer!!!
Very nice picture. I'm surprised there wasn't more ice photos
Mine is up over at my photo blog.
Nice composition, looks great~
Nice shot! I hope the weather co-operates and brings spring along soon for both of us. LOL
Love it! Hope you get some warm weather soon! We just had an unseasonably chilly blast and I'm ready to get the shorts back out again!!!
Nice contrast. It does look like it wants to melt.
Cool shot! Is it a particular pond, or area with the brick/cement poking out?
It is starting to melt here as well. I agree that it is not fast enough.
I love your photo!
It's nice and warm here so that MUST mean that soon, you'll be enjoying the same :)
Great water shot! Melt faster!! :)
Yes, it has been so cold! But we are in the 50s this week...so I am keeping my fingers crossed (although they are saying snow for the weekend).
J9: this was snapped at a little pond located on one of our favorite walking paths...the 'rocks' are old pieces of cement that sit on the water's edge...why are they there? I really don't know...could be artificial habitat (I doubt it), could be a dump site (it's Germany, so I doubt it), or it could be an old boat slip (I think this is may be the closest to the truth).
Love the simplicity of the photo!
Cool photo. Its much warmer in London so must be improving your way too
